my buddy, Thad Cockerel, joins us. His latest single called Swing In from his new album,

If In Case You Feel The Same, has a surprising story that resulted in Thad becoming a household

name across the country. Thad and I have been friends for, I don't know, a decade or more.

And when this story happened, I texted him, I was like, please come on the podcast and

tell our friends about this. So I cannot wait for you to hear. If In Case You Feel The

Same, it's his first solo effort and over a decade. It's an album that exposes deepest

insecurities and weaknesses all for the sake of creating a transcendent connection with

the audience, which proved very, very true for a lot of us, including Jimmy Fallon. Here's

you for having me. What a pleasure. Here's what? You and I have been friends for, I don't

know, I moved here in 2008. So however long that is. Then we've been friends from 2008.

Yes, from that. And I don't know why you haven't been on the show yet, but now is a great

time because you've got a great story. It's a great time and yeah, it's really an incredible

story. Yeah, you've always had a great story. Let me be clear. But this most recent couple

of months has been super fun to watch. Yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, I think along the journey,

oftentimes, you know, at some point, you know, a prayer has been like, okay, we've got to change

the story or else nobody finishes the book and you do why? Like you just people just walk away

from it. And I think what's happened over the last three months has been a completely, not

almost different chapter, but maybe a like almost a whole new sequel to something. Really?
