a run like inside of an hour i think i went i went uh 33 years with no schedule nothing to do ever just kind of a layabout and then like inside of an hour, I think. I went, I went 33 years with no schedule, nothing to do ever. Just kind of a layabout, and then, like, all of a sudden I got to do a million things. I'm so proud of you. I really am. I am excited about it. You're stretching outside your comfort zone. I like this stuff. Great. Tell me people what you told me about the phone thing earlier today. Well, you know, I've been on the, I'm, ever since, even when I was a kid, and, you know, a normal kid when they're 10, 12 years old. Sure. You want to go play basketball with your buddy. You call them up and you say, and that's before texting, obviously, the 90s. You would say, hey, is so-and-so? Is Andrew there?

Is Jeremy there?

You have a little conversation?

I was afraid to do that as a kid. I had a very strange. You had a phone phobia, which extended to a dog. Telephobia. Which is great for, you know, high school age dating. Oh, sure, yeah. because it's not like girls love to talk on the phone

for two, three hours at the time.

And I don't know what it is.

I don't have the same phobia in person, certainly.

I don't have the same phobia in person, certainly. I'm not the world's most outgoing, but I have no problem, obviously, babbling into a microphone. But you don't really have a phobia about it as much as you just, I mean... I feel a lot of... You don't like it. A lot of my minimal charm is completely lost over the phone.

And that's like through writing about baseball these years, there have been so many times when, you know, the St. Louis equivalent of K-Fand or the Des Moines equivalent of K-Fa... Like, they want to just do a quick interview about the twins or about baseball. And when I used to work for NBC, we'd have schedule of you know we have 10 requests who wants to fill it and I would I always say well not me well that was one of the things when we first started the podcast yeah was a drop dead

condition for both of us that we were walking out to the parking lot at park tavern talking about

doing a podcast after arguing at the park tavern in front of a repo, about Kevin Slowie. Right? When we were talking about, we were walking out the parking lot doing the podcast, the one thing that we were both in talking about, you said, you could say, I don't want to do it over time. I was like, oh, thank God, because I really don't want to do it with a book.
