Today I have a little bit of a shorter case, but I wanted to share the story because I feel like because it's one that doesn't have as many details, it's not like shared as often in the podcast format because I just feel like you know a lot of

podcasters and a lot of podcasts do like longer episodes which are obviously great

and we love to do those too but sometimes there's cases like this where it's a solved case. It wasn't like a

super crazy long investigation or anything like that. So there's just not as many like details to yeah make a long story so it's not shared as often

deserve to have their story shared and you know more awareness brought to it and exactly and they

deserve to be known like that you know yeah so I

wanted to share this and this was actually a suggested case I'm pretty sure it was

suggested like years ago when we started getting suggestions because it was at like kind of the top of our

suggested list because we just keep a running list with all of our suggestions and it was at the top which means it was put on there very early.

So yeah, thank you to whoever suggested this case, but this is the story of the murder of

Tracy Lee Jones. On June 22nd, 2020 a body was found inside a 50-gallon

storage tote floating in a lake in Kentucky. The woman Tracy Jones been murdered, and as the investigation into her death began, authorities

learned that a complicated history with some quote-unquote work colleagues may have led to her death.

What?

Okay.

Yeah, so in June 2020, think that we are in the middle of the pandemic in June 2020,

like the thick of it.

Yeah. You like social distancing, have to wear masks and all of that.
