We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about the Word of God and how it brings transformation and renewal into our daily lives.

Mary, welcome back. Oh, Father John, it's great to be back. And we have a very

rich topic today before we explain why we were on hiatus for a couple of weeks. What is our topic for

the day? So our topic for today's conversation, Father John, is praying with the mindset of a spy.

Oh, the mindset of a spy. I can't wait to get into this,

actually. So I just mentioned, I don't think we've ever taken a break on a podcast before, but boy,

it was really helpful to do, wasn't it? Yeah, you and I were talking before we hit the record button

that I don't think we've taken a week off, much less two weeks off. And stepping back into the studio, even today, we forgot how to do a set of things.

We kind of got out of a habit.

But it was great.

It's, you know, we talk all the time about in Acts 29, one of our core values, our apostolic values,

is authentically human.

Yeah.

And how important it is to step away from ministry with your families, you know,

because we were with our family and friends, and to simply be.

Yeah, that's right.

And just to let the Lord restore us. And we come back,

filled up, and refreshed, eager to press into the mission that he's given us. I'm thinking of a

comment, a priest friend of ours made to us recently where he said, talking about his own life,
