Hello? Hello, Sydney. What is up, you spooky ass bitches? It's me, Sydney. And we're back with another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast, a podcast for horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. What's everybody been up to? How's your day? Did you do anything fun? I went to work, which is lame. But then I also just saw in a violent nature, which was honestly also kind of lame. And I'm very disappointed about it. And I'm almost disappointed in myself because like I feel like I was the target audience for this movie. And I'm just, like, I don't know why I didn't like it.

I know why I didn't like it. But like, I feel like I should have liked it. So I'm having some

weird, like, dissonance about it. Like, it just, I don't, it wasn't for me. It was very

anticlimactic. The thing that I did love about it, obviously, was the gore, because y'all know I'm a sucker

for some good blood and gore. And this movie had it. Like, there was one kill in this movie

that was so fucking gnarly. It, like, easily tops, not tops, like, not number one, but it's

easily at, like, the top of my list of favorite kills in a horror movie ever. Like, this was

so fucking visceral. It was

awesome. And I'm talking about the kill on top of the cliff. Obviously, if you've seen it,

which I'm sure if you have seen it, you already knew I was talking about that. But yeah,

overall, like kind of disappointing. I feel like a lot of people are either loving or hating

this. It's been very divisive in the horror community, but like I feel like I'm kind of

neutral. Like I'm just there. Like I give it, I think I just did a review and I gave it like a 5.5

out of 10. Like it's just there. Like I won't go out of my way to watch it again. I also just think

like when they say things about horror movies like, oh, it's so disturbing. People are throwing up and people are having to leave the theater

and listen to these reactions of this audience that like got an early screening.

Like I feel like that automatically sets it up for failure because myself and I'm sure a lot of

you relate like as seasoned horror fans like our threshold for what's disturbing is much

higher than that of like the casual horror watching community

um like at least terrify or two like when i saw terrify or two i was like damn i understand

why people would be walking out during this scene whereas this movie i'm like where are people

getting sick like where are people walking out like i and again everybody has their own limits

...
