Hi and welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers podcast. A Truth

Seaker is someone who wants to know the truth. They search for what's true and

they won't rest until they find it. I am a true seeker and if you are too then you've

come to the right place where we will search for truth each week in the stories of

the Bible. If you've been following along in our Bible series, then you know that we have been

following the Israelites in their journey through the desert to the land God promised

them. God had made a covenant a long time ago with a man named Abraham. God

promised Abraham that his descendants would be more numerous than the stars and that he would give

them a special land flowing with milk and honey to live in. Well God fulfilled his

promise to Abraham and now he is bringing Abraham's descendants to the land of Canaan.

The only problem is the Israelites are having a hard time trusting God.

In our last episode, we learned that the Israelites made a golden calf to worship and bow down to, while Moses was up on the mountain receiving the

10 Commandments from God. This made God and Moses very angry because God said the

Israelites were to worship and bow down to him alone, because

he alone can save.

Have you ever had a hard time trusting God?

I know it can be hard sometimes because we can't really see God

like you can see your parents or your friends. The Bible says that God's spirit is like

the wind. You can't see the wind, but you know it's there because you can see the leaves move when the wind blows and you can feel the wind.

It's the same with God. We can't see God, but we can feel his presence with us and we can see the fruits of his spirit like love, joy and peace growing in our lives as we trust him. In today's episode, Moses has a very special

encounter with God. If you are struggling to trust God because you can't see Him, I think today's episode will be helpful to you.
