Summary

Donald Trump brought in blacks, gays, Latinos, and others who completely transformed the conservative movement, but his absence has brought about some nutty divisions that are currently rattling the movement. On this episode, Rob gets real problematic and discusses how some conservatives are now deemed "not black enough," while other conservatives think there are just too many gays. You can bet Rob has plenty to say about that. Plus, he tells you why the Democrats' HR 1, also known as the For the People Act of 2021, is really a far-left power grab disguised as a voting rights bill. Learn more about your ad choices. A couple of weeks ago in Orlando, Florida, the conservative political action conference was held

or CPAC. I have been to CPAC before CPAC is a pretty cool event. It is an event where basically

0:55.4

all conservative media celebrities, political influencers, congressmen, and women. You've got

1:01.6

so many people that are such a major part of the Republican Party of the conservative movement

in one space. I first went a couple of years ago when I first started with Turning Point USA.

I obviously went last year as well. This year, I did not go to CPAC because I had a ski trip

1:17.6

that had already been planned, and also to keep it 100% real, I was not invited to CPAC.

1:23.9

So that is why I did not go. The most interesting thing that happened at CPAC, in my opinion,

1:29.9

wasn't Trump speaking, wasn't all of these political personalities. On that CPAC panel,

1:34.1

they had black conservatives talking about basically black conservative issues, and they went

1:38.5

into a conversation that I think is actually purely fascinating. What I want you to do is I want

1:43.7

you to listen to this clip, and I want you to really get the sense of what is trying to be said,

1:51.4

and I really want to react to this because this is interesting. I think they've been able to do that

1:55.6

by being more inclusive, and I think that's something that we can learn in the conservative party.

2:01.4

There's not just one type of black conservative, and I feel like that's where we failed over the last

four years. We propped up one type of black conservative, and just because white people like them,
