Five minutes had elapsed, and the moon's sinister cackling had dissipated.

Nor could hear Freddy's metal grind against the ground as he was being dragged away.

Gregory, a lone resolute, peered through the expansive observation window into parks and services.

His eyes bulged.

He could see Freddy on the other side, but only his head was visible.

The animatronic bear was ensconced within a peculiar

cylindrical contraption, its robotic limbs and appendages doing who knows what to him inside.

I mean, it was parts and services. Maybe they were fixing him? Gregory wondered, but is so, would Freddy emerge as his loyal friend?

Or did he succumb to the fate of the other glamrocks, join their relentless pursuit?

Either way, he knew what he had to do.

Liberate Freddy from whatever mechanical clutches held him as fast as possible.

Urgency propelled his steps as he grasped the handles of the double doors and pulled.

A fleeting moment of confusion crossed his features, replaced swiftly by a fertile brow,

a subtle shake of the head, and a muttered expletive.
