Hi Joe. Hey. Yeah, so let's start, Brian, can you, so can you walk us through kind of how everything started for you,

1:01.2

maybe talk to us about, you know, kind of growing up and the difficulties you face and then maybe that aha moment where you wanted to just, you know, say enough is enough and you wanted to, you know say enough is enough and and you wanted to you know make a change.

1:14.8

I would say it um I was a pretty normal sized kid you know up to him third and fourth

1:21.0

grade that's when the weight started coming on and I think what's

1:25.0

interesting about that time frame is here that's about the time that the

1:29.9

vegetable and seed oils are starting to replace all the healthy fats at restaurants and stuff was using and you know

1:36.4

the stuff we got at the grocery. So yeah about fourth grade is when it you know fully was was going I was big and

1:47.1

it's just rough in that that particular grade because

1:56.0

you know the word there wasn't many big kids back then so you're singled out picked on every day and it's just even the I said the teachers even you know join in on that kind of stuff and but as a child

2:08.0

you know you're just kind of confused you know you're you're gaining all this weight

2:12.1

you don't know why because you're gaining all this weight. You don't know why because you're eating the same things that your friends are eating and your classmates.

2:18.5

But I'd say another thing is I, it wasn't from a lack of exercise either because I walked

2:27.0

to school it was two miles there two miles back I had gym class every day recess after lunch so pretty much was active and this was really kind of before you know you

2:39.5

your video games home video game systems so you know, went on there for hours, you know, being sedentary, doing nothing.

2:47.0

And, um, so, basically on a day would go, you know, I'd come home, get a snack, probably pull a cereal or some snack cakes or something, watch a couple hours of cartoons, go outside and play play and it was just a that's kind of basically a day.
