handled different types of cases, where the cases went. Just kind of dig in to that a little bit.

It's an overview, obviously, but there's lots of great books and documentaries and more on this

subject that I can link to. So let's get into it.

In Tudor, England, the legal system was a fundamental tool for maintaining social order,

as well as royal authority. Whether you were a commoner or a noble, the law touched every aspect of life,

from settling land disputes to punishing criminals. Justice in the Tudor period was practical

as well as symbolic, showing the power dynamics of a society ruled by a monarch, but also

influenced by local customs and institutions.

Under the tutors, the legal system became increasingly centralized.

This is one of the themes of the tutors that we see in the legal system.

We also talk about it with finances and collecting taxes.
