1:19.0	There is really no getting around the fact that Nom Chomsky is a towering figure in the study of modern linguistics,
1:26.2	and equally he has had an effect in shaping the political discourse of the late 20th and early 21st century,

1:34.0	adherence to his writings and speeches and this is something that I don't think we
1:38.8	should dismiss outright. I think it is something that we have to take into account if we do not want to build some sort of straw man in order to attack Nome Chomsky.
1:48.0	Today I'm much more interested in actually taking a look at Chomsky's ideas squarely for what they are and
1:53.7	evaluating them on their merits. So let us not build a straw man, let us not devolve
