We continuing here as we go back to the summer of last year when the dolies had returned from butner Lake. Now I don't know. I don't remember what the dolies did this year that kept them from. I think they did go to butner. Right. They went to butner

just for about four weeks. And then they came back because they were complaining about all the trailer trash that they were encountering at Lake butner. So that's what happened the summer this summer, 2023. Last summer though they came back quote better than ever before. I have no idea what that means. It sounds pretty stupid to be honest with you. But they also in the show they interview HOA officer Dave Deebold and their son Dylan who quote shit in the pool while they were gone. Hmm. Don't pretend like you take it seriously.

And hello, everyone. And we are back from butner Lake. Yeah. And as you know, we spend every summer at butner. We've got a beautiful new home that was built over on the gooblin. After our original home, our original purchase, which we made back in 2010. Unfortunately burned to the ground in a series of fourth of July fireworks accidents. And I think we've covered that. Yeah, that it was entirely my fault.

All right, Steve. Well, we don't need to keep going over that ground. Yes, it was your fault. Some skyrockets got loose inside the house. Steve was all set to you're really going to you had a big a big exhibition plan. Yeah, we had skyrockets going to have Roman candles, everything and everything. And all of a sudden one of the skyrockets tilted at the very last second, he got knocked and tilted. What did you knock it or. I mean, I think you and I agreed that it just was an accident. It was. Yeah, you're the wind blew it.

The wind blew it. Yeah. And the skyrocket went directly into our house and set. We had a couple of cans of gasoline in there that we were using to clean a bed spread.

And the rest is history as they say on the rest of history. Yeah. So our home burned to the ground. Basically, there's nothing left. So we purchased about a quarter acre over on the gooblin, which is a beach area right across the goblin straits from the squats.

Which are where the button late landing is. That's where our marina is and the shops. And so very convenient. We're very lucky to get it. And that's where we are now. And we've been going there every summer since 2019 was when the other cabin burned and burned all the way down to the foundation.

There were just nothing more than bricks and a little bit of electrical. Yeah. Well, okay. So we've established that we've established what? It feels like you're trying to rub it in. No, Steve, I'm not rubbing anything in. I just I'm reminding all of us of what we had, but we have a very lovely home now.

We've got a very beautiful home. And we had to buy it at a premium, of course, because real estate values that button are as they are everywhere have gone right through the roof. So it was a very fat.

It was a fat number that we paid for the the new home. Yes, it was.

But no, I'm very happy that we have our home on the gooblin.

Well, she's belly flopping into the she is belly flopping. Well, you took the film, Steve. All right.

She is has on a bathing cap and she is trying to dive into the lake from right on the very edge of the gooblin.

And the gooblin is like I say, it's it's waterfront. It's not necessarily all beach, but some of it is beach. Denise was trying to dive into the lake from a very rocky elevation of only about a half a foot above the water line.

And you can't really get elevation for a dive. No, she so that's why she belly flopped. So she belly flopped.

So and and you filmed it and put it on the feed. Yes, yes, I did.

Because I'm wondering you you're coming with a little bit of attitude. No, I don't mean to. I just when you kept on talking about how the our original home burn to the ground. Well, it did it burn to the ground, Steve.
