My name is Henry and this week I'm joined by Matt, Dario and Kaz to talk all things mountain biking, generally just, you know, just get through it, hopefully answer some of your questions and we'll get some sense out of my colleagues.

And starting off this week, Dario Fox have released more stuff.

What is, they've had a busy couple of months. It's like week eight of the Fox launch cycle.

Yeah. This is kind of the last big one for a while. I think I can say that.

Yeah, the X2 and DHX2 have been released, fully redesigned.

They're monotube now.

Same adjustment externally as before, but a significantly different internal architecture.

Could you just explain what you mean by monotube there?

Yeah, it,

principally,

it's a simpler path for the oil to flow through.

I think that's the elevator pitchiest way to say it.

It's more of the damping is done by the main piston as opposed to

secondary circuits. And as a result, there's less risk of cavitation and oil erration, which were things

that cropped up as issues on the previous X2. So hopefully a more durable shock. Could that be

described as the inverse of what they're doing with the X2?

Because I know they've moved a lot of the damping away from the mid-valve

to try and get pressure-pressing.

In the shock or in the damper?

Or maybe I'm misinterpreted in that.

I have a hard time in my mind drawing comparisons between fork dampers and shocks just because

architecturally they're very different but ultimately like they are aiming to achieve the same
