Greetings, dear listeners.

This is another, I would say, exciting edition of the Remnant Podcast, but we just don't

know yet.

It's a black box.

This is going to be another rank punditry edition of the Remnant Podcast.

And one of the reasons we're doing that is because the feedback that we got so far was

that we should do more rank punditry things.

I got some grief from people saying I should do prepared or professional rank punditry,

rather than off the top of my head or out of my nether's rank punditry.

The course, one of the definitions of rank punditry, one of the things that makes rank punditry

rank is when it comes out of your nether's.

Nonetheless, as you might be able to tell, I'm in a slightly agitated, ranty mood today.

First of all, the victim just wouldn't get into the trunk and kept fighting back, but that's

not important right now.

I had to take my daughter, she's been nagging us about being able to play ice hockey for

years, and we finally caved in.

We got our ice hockey lessons.

And so she had her first one today, which was made known to me late last night, and

which meant I had to go drive her out there.

And then I had to go out to Rockville, Maryland, a place where when Andy Dufraine misbehaves

at Shawshank, the Warden threatens to send him down there.

And it is almost biblically unpleasant in terms of the weather in Washington, DC, which
