Summary

On this episode I take you down memory lane with some of the best NFL broadcast teams in history. I used to love Curt Gowdy and Al DeRogatis on NBC. You knew when you saw them it was a big game, and they were so entertaining and Gowdy may have had the best broadcast voice all time. Speaking of voices, it was hard to top Jack Buck. He and Hank Stram were a treasure when they teamed up on CBS Radio calling NFL games. I feel bad for the younger generation that they never had a chance to watch Monday Night Football with Frank Gifford, Don Merideth and Howard Cosell. I play the infamous broadcast from 1980 when John Lennon was shot and killed. Then there is arguably the best tandem ever to be in the booth. Pat Summerall and John Madden!
