Elner Dougal of The Wave. Graham and Rose first met almost two decades ago and crossed paths

a few times over the years, but it wasn't

until December of 2020 that they connected properly when they were both appearing at a benefit

gig at Camden's Jazz Cafe. After they got chatting in the green room, they arranged to meet

up in the new year and began exchanging ideas via email, which ultimately led to them writing

songs together on the regular. Before too long, an album and the

Wave concept began to emerge. During that process, Rose and Graham's partnership blossomed into

a romantic as well as a creative one, and in 2022 they became parents to a daughter, Eliza. That same

eventful year saw the Wave play their first shows and released debut singles Something Pretty

in May of 2022.

Their self-titled debut LP followed in early 2023,

recorded mostly at home in London,
