In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Gracious Father, through the intercession of St. Paul, the friend and herald of your son.

We just ask right now that you'd be gracious to us.

Pour out your Holy Spirit upon every one of us, Mary and myself, on everybody listening,

wherever they might be.

Give to us, we ask, an encounter with your son.

Help us to hear his voice, he who is the good shepherd.

Help us to see him as he really is.

Give us courage to proclaim him as the Lord
