Hi guys, good to be back with you all again.

This is Mighty Blue on the Appalachian Trail,

the ultimate midlife crisis,

and I am Mighty Blue or Steve Adams.

Well, you probably know by now that I'm back full time on the podcast,

so as you'd imagine, I've been feverishly interviewing people

to pack my schedule out with interesting guests for you to listen to.

And there are a few people more interesting

in this hiking board of ours than today's guest, Jessica Mills or Dixie. But of course,

being me, I didn't just want to speak with Jessica. I wanted to chat with a partner and newly

minted through hiker, Marty Brooks. So I reached out to them and they both agreed to come on the show.

I'm sure you're going to get a kick out of listening to them interacting with one another as a couple. As you'll hear, we had a lot of laughs. And after Jessica and Marty, I chat with Katie, who is now coming to turns with what people mean when they refer to Roxylvania. As ever though, she's coping admirably. Later, I'm going to talk about the arrangements for the show when I'll be away on the John Muir Trail.

And she is Jessica Mills or Dixie. Hey, guys, how are you? I'm fine. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm very good. You're not going to let her speak for you all the time, are you, Marty?

No, she jumped right in there, but no, I'm doing great. I'm glad to be here. This is pretty cool. Right. Well, look, Jessica and I have spoken before, so I'm going to start with you, Marty, if you don't mind. Okay. I saw that you did most of the Pinhodi trail with Jessica.
