As we discussed last week, the Onan War Both was and was not the end of the Ashkaga Bakfu.

On the one hand, Ashkaga prestige was irreparably tarnished by the damage done to the capital and by the seeming inability of the Shogun to control fighting within the streets of a city he supposedly ruled.

On the other hand, there would still be an Ashkaga Shogun claiming to rule all of Japan for 100 years after the Onan War.
