Welcome, everybody, to Crystal Kyle and Friends. Today is just Crystal and Friend. Very excited to speak with State Representative Angie Nixon, who is now running for United States Senate in the state of Florida. And boy, do I have a lot to speak with her about. We actually

had her on the anti-war live stream that I co-hosted along with Emma Vigoland and organized by

Progressive Victory. And I saw this woman and I was just completely wowed by her, you know,

an incredible voice, incredible passion, incredible principles. And she's also running in a state that I find quite fascinating. But, you know, an incredible voice, incredible passion, incredible principles. And she's also running

in a state that I find quite fascinating, both because it has shifted so dramatically from being

the quintessential swing state to now being seen as a hard right bastion. We've also just had a

couple of elections there that shifted pretty dramatically to the left. You had Democrats

pick up two seats, including the one that represents Marilago. So there's been a lot of recriminations

around Trump's mass deportation approach down in Florida, which has been very detrimental to the

economy there. Obviously, Florida is a hotbed of sentiment with regard to Cuba. And so a lot that's interesting to speak with her about there. Obviously, Florida is a hotbed of sentiment with regard to Cuba, and so a lot that's

interesting to speak with her about there. And then I also want to talk to her, obviously,

about this horrific war, which I see is already being effectively World War III, since I think

de facto it will determine what the world order looks like going forward. Representative Nixon has very strong and

very principled thoughts. She's not one to get in there and do hand-wringing about, oh, President

Trump didn't consult us or, oh, we didn't file the correct paperwork. No, she has adamant

views, adamant anti-war views and is disgusted with the way that money has impacted our foreign policy

and our domestic policy all alike. So really excited to speak with her. I'm excited for you to

meet her if you haven't seen any of her work yet and to find out more about her campaign and

her thoughts on the world. So with all of that being said, let's go ahead and get to it.

I was saying I, the first time I had really seen you, to be perfectly honest, was on the live stream that we hosted. And Kyle and I were both watching you like, wow, who is this woman? She's amazing.
