So it's probably one of the more overused phrases in all the media.

So-and-so was taken out of context. You've heard that phrase before, taken out of context. I think there's a chance that yesterday, we're going to judge for ourselves. We're going to play this and we're going to listen to it in real time. We're going to judge for ourselves. Here coming up in a few minutes, a chance that Kirby Smart, I think accidentally, I don't think anybody did this nefariously on purpose,

but I believe that accidentally Kirby Smart may have been taken out of context on something

fairly important yesterday, what some people thought he meant, he may have actually meant

something completely different. We'll investigate this coming up in a moment and you can judge for

yourself. Prior to that, if you are

like me, a college football obsessive and you try to devour and consume as much college

football news as you can, you may have noticed yesterday what I feel like I noticed, which is maybe

for the first time in a while, and it's not robust,

and nothing is guaranteed, and there's still plenty of trepidation, but maybe for the first time

in a little while, there might have been the faintest hint of optimism creep into the national conversation about where college athletics currently is

and where it might be going relating to some of these really big issues about NIL, transfer

portal, how you pay for all of this, the runaway cost of trying to pay for all of this.

There have been a lot of very serious

issues facing college football. I don't think it's too strong to call them problems.

But maybe yesterday we got just the slightest hint that, hey, there could be, you know, a great

big, beautiful tomorrow, just down the road just a little bit,
