We just got back from RIEI for a backpacking adventure for the ages.

Nothing like an RIEI trip to get you revved up for adventure.

We leave tomorrow afternoon when Sophie gets off work to go to Yosemite where we will be backpacking from Tuolome down to the valley and hopefully somebody in half dome with a couple of, we had to pull a couple fast ones on the park rangers. Brooks is currently wearing a bandana wrapped around his head in a headband.

Yeah, I bought a bandana. That's how you know you're ready for adventure. At R.E. I am jazz. So let's explain our RIA situation we have to do right now, Carl. So in order to backpack half dome,

there are a couple sites that fill up really quick when you go backpacking, when you get your permits. One of them was Cathedral Lakes. And I was like, I'll just get us some Cathedral Lakes permits. They sold out right away. So I get this one in the Tuolome Valley. It's all good. Yet Carl, I have get a Mono Meadow permits, which comes with a half dome permit.

So we, when we get there early Thursday morning, we have to tell the people at the

visitors.

We're going to tell them it's your birthday.

We're going to say, we got a big birthday boy here in a bandana.
