history using the rail system to commit a string of crimes across the U.S.

What authorities hadn't realized was that while Angel was burglarizing and trespassing, he was also indiscriminately killing people

who crossed his path.

An young daughter he would often leave for periods of time while he crossed the border into the United States.

It wasn't unusual for Angel to send a little money or small trinkets back while he was on these trips, But what his family didn't realize was that these

small tokens were actually belongings for many people the Rezendez had attacked and

robbed. Over the years Rezendez would leave a string of deaths that wound through Texas, California, Florida,

Kentucky, and Illinois.

Unfortunately, law enforcement didn't start to put these crimes together until the rape and

murder of Dr. Claudia Benton near Houston, Texas.
