Hello, this is Jennifer Matarise, and before I get started today, I would just like to say another huge thank you to those of you who were able to contribute to the Kickstarter.

I was able to go out this week and get a new microphone, an isolation shield, and a new laptop, which hopefully won't have an aneurysm in the middle of a recording like the last one would.

I also got some recording software, which I've been playing with all day, so we'll see how

things improve over the next couple of episodes.

I do have a bit of a cold coming on, though, so I may sound a little bit strange anyway.

I'd also like to specifically thank Dina who chose the subject

for this episode. Either I've never heard of this disaster or I completely forgot about it,

but either way, I enjoyed researching this so much. Thirdly, a trigger warning. This episode

features the deaths of children and descriptions of burn injuries and deaths.

I think most of us can remember what it was like to go on a school trip as a kid.

You piled onto a bus next to your friends, hopefully a charter bus, but usually a school bus.

You dangled over the seat to talk to the person behind you, and you tried to sleep, even though

the seats weren't exactly built for comfort.

When the bus would go too quickly around a corner or skid on some ice,
