Summary

The recent home-centered and Church supported plan that focuses on gospel teaching and learning in the family has re-emphasized that parents have the primary responsibility to teach the gospel to their children. 0:10.2	But I can picture exactly where I was when President Russell M. Nelson bounded up to the
0:14.3	pulpit to give his opening at general conference.
0:17.9	Not knowing what new directive we might get from him, he proceeded to teach how we needed
0:22.6	to collectively adjust our thinking about the idea of church and the heavy responsibility
0:28.3	that we often place on the institutional church when it comes to teaching and learning the

0:35.0	Then he introduced a phrase that has quickly become as ubiquitous in Latter-day Saint
0:39.5	terminology as nourish and strengthen our bodies.

0:51.6	He told us of a new curriculum called Come Follow Me that had been years in the making
0:56.4	in development to guide this new home-centered church supported initiative for gospel

1:31.0	learning, over time, your Sabbath days will truly be a delight.
1:39.2	Your children will be excited to learn and to live the Savior's teachings.
