We've been really enjoying, thanks to our Patreon supporters, we've been enjoying doing our shows in person, which has been a huge, I don't know for both of us, it feels like it's up the quality.

We feel, not just audio-wise, but like how you can sense things in person.

Unfortunately today, that was the plan today as well, but for the last week, I've been taken down with, I guess, the flu or some sort of mutated cold.

I have no idea what it is, because I don't go to doctors.

Unless I'm going to die. You know, from New Zealand, we don't do that. We have free healthcare,

but we don't use it. So I didn't want to infect you. I even had to miss meeting freaking John

Landis today who's on Shockwaves, who I interviewed many moons ago,

but like that was super, super shitty. But this is an episode that we had been, so it's a prison

of it, having the flu is kind of like a prison. It's getting me in the vibe, feeling shit.

that i was super fascinating wanted us to do an episode on prisons yeah prison movies is a really

cool genre and in doing the research for this i just was reminded like how many different kinds of

i mean there are they are the really basic prison movies

and then there's lots of sort of offshoots and things.

And it's been a really fun research project.
