Hello, Serena Shahidi, let me ruin your life.

If I sound a bit

congested right now, it's because I

believe that I contracted a cold in Hell's Kitchen.

Which you know, I can't really complain because I have friends that have gotten far worse in that neighborhood.

But I will complain because that's what strong women do. I feel like shit.

I'm gonna keep this. I know I said in the last episode. I mean, first of all, I'm a liar. Like don't even listen to me.

But I know I said in the last episode that I would be doing like more meaty, juicy,

fatty, greasy

intros before my episodes with guests. I'm gonna do not much of an intro for this episode for two reasons.

First of all, I'm congested. I don't sound great to myself. Maybe I sound gorgeous to you. Maybe you're listening to this and you're like, ooh, Serena.

I'm questioning my sexuality with that with the bacteria in your voice or virus. I'm not sure. I don't really know the difference.

Although maybe this is how I like get discovered. Like, ooh, okay, movie plot, movie idea. Someone write this down. Someone send this to

Spielberg. I get discovered as a voice actor. Actress.

While I'm sick and I have this gorgeous sexy voice that I have going on and then I'm like, uh,

guys, I can't work anymore. I feel better. I took my zinc. What's a girl to do?

And that's kind of the conflict of the movie. Film.

Really. Anyway, the second reason why I'm gonna keep this into your short is because this is not just any

episode with a guest. This is a long, long awaited guest. Been probably like six months coming

ever since she DMed me while I was a wine drunk coming back from a date in the back of an Uber. And this is also an episode with someone who I've gotten to know a lot better recently.

Someone who is a chaotic mess on the internet and actually very much a sweetheart and a very sensitive and curious person in real life.
