It didn't work. Hello there and welcome to Midlife Gamer podcast episode 27. Today is Sunday the 1st of February. It's February 2001, my friends. I'm Darren Boulda. And with me in the office, as always, the super sexy fun time guy that he is, Mr. Matthew Moore. How are you? I'm really much better now. That was a hell of an introduction. It was. How's your week then? It's been fine. Wait, you've been up to? Don't think nice. Don't think sexual like I have. No, I've been working like a Japanese prisoner of war. Working like, dude, I was working really hard this week because it was my last week. I know. And now you're just some sort of scummy, dull, skanky, sponge. Yeah. So how long do you plan to take off? Well, I don't know. See, in my mind, I was like, you know what? I'm going to have a month off. But the trouble is, one of two things will happen either. I'll wait a month and then I'll start looking for a job. And I could take another month to find a job. Yeah. Or do I kind of sort of balance that enjoying my time off while not stressing about getting

another job and just see how it goes. I'm thinking week one will be, I'll have a quick look, see what's around, anything takes to a fancy, I see what's going on. I can see by sort of the end of week, too, I'll be stressing. Oh, need the job, need the job. So there's so much time I can sit about playing games. Mate, you do whatever you think is right.

Just remember, man, you've got a rent to pay.

I have got a good lady to keep in stuff that she wants. Yeah, which is quite cheap, though, really. As long as she's got a monthly wow subscription and some cold beers on the go, she's generally content. Sanitary towels? That would be probably good. Oh, I don't know if she sort of that. She wants to. You don't know. We're waking up with a bed like a butcher slab, do you? Oh, damn. I'm trying to eat cheese. Yes, we have cheese, ladies and gentlemen. Following on from our cake debacle last week, found out that Matt doesn't like cakes that much. So we've hit up.
