Hey, I am so happy to be here once again discussing a childhood favorite long-lasting

short book series.

I love these books. I was introduced to them in the back of an Anamorphs book, as I think most people were. It's a very effective form of advertising. I've been reading the Animorphs since sixth grade, and all of my friends were obsessed. So, of course, we started reading Everworld as soon as they came out, I believe, the summer before eighth grade. So this was very much my eighth grade year, since there's 12 books, one book a month. It took up the whole year. And I like to say that Animorphs is to Everworld, as the Babysitters Club is to California Diaries, which was the last episode that I was on.

This is the grittier, more YA than middle grade, but still short and digestible book series.

They're able to cover topics that you would not be able to cover

in Animorphs, although Animorphs is admittedly more hardcore than the Babyseters Club in terms of

what those kids go through. The original Animerfs, but maybe not the, uh, maybe not, or I mean,

the original Babysers Club, but maybe not the babysitters club mysteries.

That is true. They went through some stuff.

By the way, that's a great way to segue into just briefly mentioning, this is part of Flashback summer where we revisit childhood favorites and

you know they don't we're not reading them necessarily with an eye toward to
