Unfortunately, we're at almost 10 weeks after this disaster taking place initially, and things

0:06.2

are still not right in East Palestine. There is still an ongoing cleanup effort of all of the

0:12.2

contaminated soil at this point that was initially just buried underneath the railroad tracks

0:17.6

by Norfolk Southern who caused this, which has essentially left like a half

0:22.3

mile long scar right down the middle of town that is essentially open soil. And now, you know,

0:29.1

they're kind of like moving the stuff around and putting it in piles and covering up the piles.

1:17.8

soil just a couple hours ago, actually, from when we're recording this, just turned over on a roadway

1:23.2

in Columbia County where East Palestine was. So this is still happening and there are still mishaps happening every single day,

1:29.7

unfortunately, with this cleanup.

1:31.4

So you, while on the ground, experienced symptoms, which really flies in the face with what

1:38.2

locals have been told about how the air quality is safe and they shouldn't have anything

1:43.3

to worry about. Can you talk a little bit

1:45.2

about what you experienced while you were there? Yeah, absolutely. So this was actually on my second
