Leaving 2020 entering 2021. What are your thinking? What is happening in your brain?

1:49.0

That rear view mirror. I do think that thinking about what's coming in this year feels a little bit like playing with monopoly money. It's all pretend. Yeah, that's right. That's right.

2:00.0

But it also, I don't know, it's just I have so much hope. I know that there's been a lot of language around nothing's really going to change when it's 2021. Like the things are still sort of the same.

2:23.0

It went a little bit faster than we thought it would. Didn't it?

2:26.0

2:32.0

I'm just too tired. But no, I'm so happy to leave 2020 behind. And I also want to remember the good things from it. And it not just be a year I want to forget because there's so many beautiful things that came from it too.

But I am really glad to not have to say 2020 anymore. That's a really beautiful thought though. The like, did we at some point this week or the end of last week.

2:54.0

And we sit down and go like, okay, what was the good of 2020 now that I'm in 2021? What was the good of 2020?

3:01.0

Yeah. Well, this is why it's nice for people like us to have podcasts and content that we have to create as a job.

3:07.0

I did that on my own podcast. It was the last episode of 2020 was.

3:12.0

Oh, good discoveries of 2020.

3:15.0

Because I'm not very good. I'm not very good at reflecting. Like that's why we have the next right thing with Emily.

3:21.0

That's why we have Emily that teachers had a reflect and stuff. And so I kind of took the time to think through what my favorite discoveries are.

3:28.0

And it was really life giving to go look at all these beautiful things that I found that I got to enjoy and learn and all that.

3:35.0
