M My number one favorite moment in the entire trial had to be when Senator Ed Markey from

Massachusetts gave his entire speech to Howard.

He laid into Howard for a good couple of minutes about Howard, who has historically, you

know, whenever he talks about

his roots, he talks about how he comes from poverty. His father was laid off having the rights

as a worker. And Ed Markey drew like this really like deep, detailed parallel between us as the

workers at Starbucks and the struggles that his father allegedly went through as a worker with no

rights and ends it basically saying these workers, they are just like your father, they have no rights.

All across America, workers are saying that they've had enough,

rising inequality and outlandish CEO pay for those at the top, like you,

and a paycheck to paycheck subsistence for everyone else.
