My name is J.J. Zacharisen.

We're on quarterback. And as always, i'm joined by my lovely co-host

living the stream been doing a lot of uh of work with with avery on reading recently yeah and uh she the problem with her i don't know about

your kids but the problem with her is that she just likes to memorize things instead of really

reading the things you know and i'm like trying to get across to her i'm like you're going to come

across words that you don't know because there are literally thousands and thousands of them

and you can't just memorize cat you And you can't just memorize cat.

You know, you can't just memorize these things and think that that's okay.

And you can live your life that way.

It is funny though, when they, when they finally get it and they really start reading well,

it's almost, it's almost like, like off putting.

Like my, my daughter recently like, you know, I mean, she's, she's seven,

so she's been reading for a couple years, a few years, but she, but she really can, like,

breeze through books, you know, for eight, 10-year-olds, whatever.

And so before bed, she'll read a book with me there and and and i'm like

wait since when can you just like like bust out these words that i've never heard you say like
