A small town in Australia's Northern Territory, no more than a dot on a map, was home to just under a dozen residents.

When a 70-year-old wise-cracking former cowboy vanished without a trace,

the list of suspects wasn't long.

Somehow, the perpetrator has managed to evade capture.

This week's episode is The Unsolved Murder of Patty Moriarty. A bump in the nights your heart fills with dread, probably a murderer who wants you dead.

It could be a ghost, a demon or worse.

Perhaps you're the victim of a witch's curse.

It's hopeless, you're doomed.

You'd call a priest if you could. You'd rather just listen to who sinister

hood. I'm going to kill you.

Well, we are introduced to this case by the Duplas brothers.

Love them and loved this documentary.

and we went into it knowing nothing and throughout and by the end we were like,

well, we have to cover this. This is so wild. It is one of the most captivating, compelling twisty, turny

documentaries I've ever seen and it's especially given the literal landscape of where this takes place.

It's very the I like how it was framed in that it's like five chapters with like a prologue because for a town of only 12 people there is so

much information there's so much backstory that when we talk about crime in a big city and that there's all these major

players oh well it's just a small town with only 12 people if someone is

murdered surely someone would hear something know something be able to report it

but it has spawned I have to also try to

ask to solve this mystery. It's spawned at least a book which is last it's just
