If you want to look hard enough, and frankly, you don't have to look that hard,

you can find lots of examples maybe of how the new age of college athletics,

brought apart by NIL and Transfer Portal,

have made some things that we love about college football,

maybe not quite feel as good as they once did.

You can have a pessimistic outlook on the future.

Some people probably do, And some of that is probably

quite understandable. We totally get that. And yet I think when we are forced sometimes to say,

well, this feels worse than it used to, this is not heading in a good direction. When you have

some of those more negative ideas pop in, I do think it's important to also

pay attention sometimes to, hey, this is a new thing about college football that's actually

probably made the sport better, made our experience as fans better, because I do believe there

is some of that going on at the same time there is the other. And for whatever reason,

it may be just human nature,

it's sometimes a little harder to notice. Hey, here's a way in which the sport has changed for the

better. But I do think it's important to find that out. Let me give you one example of that to kick
