Summary

DawgNation Daily -- the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans Beginning of the show: I discuss UGA placing five names on On3's way-too-early list of the top 100 players in college football for 2026 and explain why that early buzz for the Bulldogs' roster shows improvement for where the program was perceived to be around this time a year ago. 15-minute mark: I explain why the most notable emerging star on Georgia's roster might be defensive lineman Elijah Griffin and share an interview I conducted with Griffin last month. 30-minute mark: DawgNation recruiting insider Jeff Sentell joins the show. 55-minute mark: I take a look at other SEC headlines including an announcement on next year's College Football Playoff, which was made during today's show. End of show: I award a Golden Shoe winner and share the Gator Hater Updater.

Here's your host, Brandon Adams. So I think when we look at some of the stuff we've talked about this month so far,

0:19.0

and some of the conversations I anticipate

0:21.4

us having in the next couple of weeks. I think there is a general theme emerging to our offseason

0:27.4

content here right now. And hopefully this makes sense to everyone. On the one hand with Georgia,

0:32.9

hey, there may be a couple of reasons for concern. Obviously, Georgia is a little bit below the standard

0:38.8

set for itself in 2021, 2022. It is like everybody else trying to figure out what the new

0:44.3

landscape of college football looks like. So on the one hand, there are some legitimate

0:49.2

concerns. There are some areas without equivocation. Georgia Stees get better. Some of that's

0:53.6

on offense.

0:56.1

We've talked about that before already this week.

1:01.0

There are also probably other areas, too, where Georgia needs to show improvement if it wants to be at a national championship level, this is something we've discussed.

1:05.1

And while we mention those things, I think, very realistically, without a whole lot of embellishment, we can also say,

1:12.6

on the other hand, in the same breath, in the midst of these concerns, here is why there is also

1:19.1

legitimate reason for optimism. Everywhere you have one thing, you also have the other,

1:24.7

that's just the nature of it with Georgia, that, boy, if this is not fixed,

1:29.2

then Georgia's not going to have better results, but here are all the reasons why it could be fixed.

1:34.4

That's the basic template for the conversation that we're having here right now. I think we have

1:39.0

another example of that here today, that on the one hand, here's something you maybe should pay attention to,

1:45.0

a little concerning. On the other hand, boy, look how good all of this is. So simply stated

1:49.6

this way, there is one thing that we're already noticing about Georgia that would suggest that
