In late May and early June 2017 I will be leading a knitters tour of Iceland along with any

information out about the Nitter's Tour of Iceland. If you are not at all interested in this, then you'll beginning episode 261 in just a couple of days, I believe. That's the goal anyway.

The tour is organized by Gene Wynne at Celtic journeys. Amy has already been to Iceland in May of this year, so she's experienced. I'm the newbie, but we're so excited about it. Let me tell you a little bit more about it.

First of all the dates are May 26th through June 5th 2017 and you can add a day or two or whatever you want on to the front or back of that trip as well.

The arrival is on Saturday, May 27th, and we jump right in to go in to see the Blue

Lagoon. You will be staying for three nights at Hotel Alda, which is a luxury hotel, I think, for four or five star hotel, it's very nice in Reykjavik.

Hotel Alda is located in the heart of the city and it is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and art galleries.

And then there is a welcome dinner that night.

There is a Saga Circle tour, which will take us to the western part of the island.

We can visit some historical sites connected with the Viking Age in Iceland. And then we meet with Gudran

yarn shops so we'll be doing that. There are so many fun things like this. There is

a visit to the Ice Text Mill and Aliphos, which is where the Lopeol is made, and an optional
