U.S. Senate candidate running in Maine, Graham Platner. Graham, thanks for joining us, man. We appreciate it.

Oh, no, it's an absolute pleasure. Thanks for having me, guys. Oh, it's our pleasure. So a lot going on. You know, the other day, we, of course, saw an ICE agent kill somebody in a car. There's about a thousand videos with all the different angles that are out now. You know, it appears to be, I think, to all reasonable people, it appears to be pretty conclusive. I do, of course, see the right trying to, you know, muster some sort of cockamamie defense. But what are your initial thoughts? We have a 37-year-old woman who is a mother who is now dead. She had a bunch of stuffed animals in her car for her kid when she was killed. There's now reports that she wasn't even part of the protest in any way she performed. Not that it would make it any different if she was part of the protest,

by the way, let me just say. But what's your initial reaction to what we saw the other day?

I hate to say this, but like, as this was going to happen. This is like a complete inevitability.

And this is one of those awful moments

where a lot of us get to say, I told you so, and it's an awful I told you so. But this is just

the culmination in many ways of years of our, how we use state violence, how we glorify state violence.

But at the same time, just in kind of the short term, with the Trump administration,

expanding ICE in the way that it has, with the way that it has brought in a ton of people

who are clearly unqualified, clearly under trained, can't handle stress.

I mean, these are not guys who are meant to do this kind of work.

And that was the point, right?

These are, these are unper, this is kind of like we're getting into private or like political

militia type stuff here.

These guys aren't very good at what they do.

And the entire purpose is to send them into communities and terrorize people.

And when you do that, eventually, something like this is going to happen. And it's, I mean, it's just a, it's an absolute tragedy, but it is also, for me, evidence that as we move forward, people need to be held accountable for this.

And not just the agent, not just the people that conduct the violence, but the people that

created this entire scenario and unleashed this on American communities.

And, Crystal, before you jump in, let me just, I just want to tell everybody that there's

already video online of, so a bunch of the protesters set up a memorial for Renee Good. And there were a bunch of
