Hi, I'm Michael and welcome to Beyond the Screenplay.

Today we are talking about the new trilogy of Star Wars movies, and to be clear, we're

recording this before, episode nine has come out, so we're really talking about episode seven,

The Force Awakens, written by Lawrence Kasden and J.J. Abrams

and Michael Arndt, directed by J.J. Abrams, and The Last Jedi, written and directed by Ryan Johnson.

We will be talking about episode nine, The Rise of Skywalker, and we're going to do that as a

patron exclusive episode. So we all have tickets to see it right, you know, when it comes out. And so we're

going to gather up probably remotely because we'll be off doing our holiday things, but record

all of our thoughts, do a special episode on that and then release that to the patrons as soon as

possible after the movie comes out. But for now, we're talking about the Force Awakens, The Last

Jedi, and then some Rogue One, some solo, some Mandalorian, just the general, the new Star Wars movies, the new era that we're in.
