And this is episode 26, and we are finally getting to a record that people have asked about and is also one of the, probably not the first controversial Metallica record,

but maybe the most.

We're talking about LODD this week.

Yeah, there's, the Metallica family has been split on this Lod record for a long time.

And it is interesting, though, because as we've been sort of taking the pulse of all these

records over other episodes,

I feel like a lot of people have come around on load. I think so too. And like I said before,

I shouldn't have said most controversial record, because we know what that one is. This is, I would say,

the most in as far as the timeline goes, this is the first one that was like, holy shit, what happened to my band?

You know, I would say more so than the black album.

Yeah, well, the black album was the beginning, and Lode was definitely, for the people that were

bummed about the black album, Lod is just the worst thing they could have done, for sure.

Yeah, definitely.

But, you know, like I was telling, I was telling Clint before we started recording this,

I've been spending a bunch of time with this record, and over the last, you know,

pretty much since we started the podcast, I have been really coming around to this record,

more so than I ever have, especially this week and even today, listening to it all the way through

and making notes.
