Let me begin by asking you a question.

Did you have a good weekend? My guess is you probably did. And different people are going to gravitate towards different aspects of what we've last seen, what we saw from Georgia since you and I last spoke on this show on Friday. Georgia beat Alabama convincingly. How good did that feel? How many times have we spent talking about

this particular foe and the trouble that it's caused UGA? And what I believe is probably a level of

angst about that team that's greater for the average fan than it might be for the coaches and the players,

but we're a show that's built around fans, and we remember all of that.

And so there was so much catharsis in what happened on Saturday to not just win, but to win

convincingly.

And for me, a big thing on that was, you know, Georgia had had leads before against payment.

In recent games, it had been the story of, unfortunately, building a big deafs and trying to come back.

But in the early days of Kirby Smart, it was 13-0-0-5 of the 2017 national championship game.

It was 2814 at the half in the 2018 SEC championship game.

That two touchdown lead thereabouts had proven not to be safe for Georgia.

So here you are, Georgia up 14-0 nothing near the end of the first half.

And in my mind, I'm thinking, you've got to build this lead from here.

You've got to get something beyond the threshold of where Georgia's had it before.

And near the end of the first half, Georgia was very aggressive for going before on the fourth down.

I converted that.
