We are going to have some fun for a couple of minutes with a theme that leads

us into a talk about Georgia and Florida coming up on Saturday. Let me begin by telling you something

that if you're very close to all of this, Georgia football, and the conversations that happen around

it, you're probably already aware of, is that sometimes when Kirby Smart appears in an official capacity, as the

coach of the Georgia Bulldog speaking in a sanctioned press conference, sometimes Kirby does what he

thinks that moment requires from him professionally speaking, and it's maybe not the most

authentic representation of who Kirby Smart is.

And as a media person, let me tell you this, I don't care. Look, it's his prerogative to do what he

wants. We're going to have fun no matter what. I don't really need anything from anybody to do this

show and never really have. So Kirby can go about his business

however he wants to. Whatever produces wins for Georgia, we would say is probably fine for the most

part. We don't have a whole lot of expectation about that sort of thing. We're just observers. And

when we notice things, we're going to describe what we notice.

And maybe another example of that here this week where Kirby, in talking about the Georgia floor arrival, the specific question was the fact that, as Kirby has said before, maybe right

before the game, the stadium's a little bit more empty because people are enjoying the festivities of the cocktail party

to the exact last moment they possibly can.
