Summary

This week on the podcast, the guys couldn’t link their schedules up (lots of illnesses in the Schlitt household this week), so Erik went solo to take a deep dive into the Jacksonville Jaguars, who the Detroit Lions will face in Week 13.

Erik takes a look at the team’s latest roster moves, injury report, and discuss their approach to this week’s game. As always, the podcast wraps up by going position-by-position through the Jaguars’ roster, discussing how the Lions will try and take advantage.

Just a reminder, if you like our show you can subscribe using iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Stitcher, or Podbean.

As always, thanks for listening. Tweet us @erikschlitt,  @JoeKania_DLB,  @lionsbreakdown.

been an unfortunate set of circumstances this week.

1:02.6

I had a sickness going through the Schlett household.

1:05.6

Everyone, except for me, was affected this week, so that really limited my time.

1:12.1

Joe has had a very difficult work schedule, and we just haven't been able to link up. So I'm going to be trying to give you as much

1:18.3

content as I get. So without further ado, let's just jump right in here. Lions made a couple

1:24.4

transactions this week. The most notable was the signing of James Houston off of the practice squad.

1:31.0

James Houston was called up before the Thanksgiving Day game in order to give the line some supplemental pass rush as well as some special teams activity. He had about 12 snaps on special

1:47.5

teams, five snaps as a defender, but made the most of those snaps. He had a fumble recovery

1:53.4

on a punt return where Khalif Raymond fumbled and he recovered and allowed Detroit to maintain the football.

2:02.6

Very early in the game, that could have been a very costly, you know, momentum-changing

2:06.6

type of situation right early in the game that could have put Detroit in a bad way.

2:11.6

Houston ends up coming in and making a massive play to keep the Lions on track.
