Twins had a very good week, went three and two, and I'm protruding that solely to getting

Aaron Gleeman out of the state. And instead replacing him, I've got two special guests today.

did a show on KFAN. So I am again, attributing this to finally getting gleaming out of the state.

He is in Wrigley Field this afternoon, one of my favorite places to be. I'm actually very proud

of him for leaving the state going on a vacation. I think it was about the first vacation he's taken in about 10 years.

It also seems like it had been about 10 years since the twins had a three-game winning streak.

They have one as of now.

We'll have to see if Ricky Nalasco can continue to hold that up.

Gentlemen, let me get your take.

What is the driver of, is anything changed for the twins significantly, or is this just a random three game? Well, I like the fact that you can end a game with a double play when the Mariners base runners decide that they're going to run all over the place. Just, you know. I did like it. I did love it. I think it was Phil Miller as the strip beat Beat Report on the site. They're calling it a twin killing, which, you know. Yeah, okay. Very good. Yeah, if you did not stay up to watch the Twins game last night, the midnight game, first of all, I don't blame you. And in fact, literally like 30 seconds before that play happened, or maybe a minute and a half before that play happened. I was kicking myself for staying up to watch that. I knew they had a one-run lead. I knew Kevin Jepson was going to be coming in to protect it. And I sat there watching it going, why would I do this to myself? Why would I cost myself? Like I knew a half hour ago that this was how this was going to play out. and I was going to have to watch Kevin Jepson try to protect a one-run lead.

Why would I put any faith in him?

And then sure enough, he gives off the single. He gives up another single. And now we've got runners on the corners and no-out, and the tying run is 90 feet away. and like they had done all game, actually,

they managed to get a pop-up when they needed one, right,

to get one out.
