If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game, in my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals of chiefness.

I talked about faith, passion, obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around,

and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

That which gets praised gets repeated.

I fresh off a win, right? Had to battle out a win but uh coach par from st pious

how you doing coach doing great doing great thanks for having me on of course so first off happy with

the win sam and i joked that we were excited for you to win because we knew you were coming on the show

and it would just make for a better episode yeah always yeah they fought you hard out of the the halftime though yeah yeah they're

they're uh i think like a try of a staple in georgia newton they've been to seven a final fours

great coaching uh they play a number of different zones and they they got they just got a lot of

pieces and i they they made a nice run at us in the second half I thought our guys responded to a little bit of that adversity on that run and, you know, found a way to just grind out possessions and get good shots. Interesting. Well, they have success, but so do you. I mean, you're fresh off two back-to-back state championship appearances, okay? And I want to ask you just, you end up falling short in both of those appearances.

So, like, what is the message that you send to the team?

Like, what are the goals and expectations?

Is it to win at all?

And have you carried a lot of the same guys that were on the previous last two years?

And what's their mindset after two tough losses like that?
