Summary

Show notes at: https://www.englandcast.com/2024/10/episode-252-tudor-places-in-america/ The fact that Tudorcon is coming up in just over a week has me thinking about all the places like Agecroft Hall that you can visit in the US - places that are related to Tudor or Medieval England, but don't require a passport for Americans to visit. From St Augustine to Drake's Bay, let's talk about places in America with a Tudor connection. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. Learn more about your ad choices. a couple days ago. And somebody had written to me, I think it was Misty. I apologize if I got that

1:05.3

wrong. But somebody wrote to me and suggested to do an episode on St. Augustine in Florida, which of course is the oldest

1:13.0

continuous European settlement in the United States because the Spanish were there. And so I was

1:21.8

looking at doing something on that because I thought that was really interesting and I thought

1:24.8

about Agecroft and I thought about all these different places in the U.S. that actually have a connection to the tutors or the very early

1:31.8

stewards. And so here we are doing an episode on that. And of course I was thinking about agecroft
