If you remember about 11 months back we talked to Ed Ewing. He's the executive director of Bike Works

and I'll tell you what Bike Works is in a moment. I met Ed a number of years ago.

He's doing something really cool in our schools you guys. He was taking kids and saying hey instead of joining a gang want you

join a group and what we're going to do in this group is we're going to learn

to build bikes and in fact we're going to reach out to the Cascade Bicycle

Club which you work very closely with and said

let's see if we get some bikes let's see if we can teach kids to work on bikes let's see if we can teach kids
