Summary

One more 2021 FLASHBACK to end the year before a HUGE "NGD" podcast kickoff in 2022. This is my  favorite episode of the year featuring Joe Feeney, looking back at WWE's UNTOLD: Two Dudes With Attitudes.  This episode recaps the documentary presentation, the talking heads and the moments linked to HBK and Diesel. We also dig deep into the vault  to talk about mid 90s wrestling and why fans tuned out during the height of the reign of the Two Dudes With Attitudes.

This series kind of digging into some deeper stuff. This is really my first time checking it out.

So I'll be quite honest with you. I'm not going to say that I've watched 10,000 episodes of it or how many there are.

1:07.7

This was the first one. But what I do like is I call this like a deep cut.

1:11.1

This is something that you wouldn't necessarily think garners a WWE produced documentary.

1:17.1

But thus the two dudes with attitude, Sean Michaels and Diesel, who I call two of the five players,

1:23.5

the marquee players of that era. I say it's Brett, Razor, Undertaker, Sean Diesel.

1:29.2

Those are the top five.

1:30.3

Those are your go-to.

1:31.7

But these two told the whole story, top the bottom.

The one we know about Sean Michaels discovering Vinnie Vegas on WCW Saturday night

through the Hall of Fame induction at Kevin Nash.

1:42.6

And in between before we talk about some of the meat and potatoes,

1:46.4

what did you think of this, WWE untold?

1:49.3

I can never get enough of these inside stories and documentaries.

1:53.1

Like I've said before, like I was a big shooting interview mark.

1:55.8

You know, I was a big, KF8 commentaries, Mark.

1:58.4

I would watch timelines and, you know, all their stuff. I think they did great stuff. So when WWE started doing these deep dives, even back on the WWE 24, what was it, 24-7? Oh, my gosh, the best. When they used to do the Legends roundtables, I loved, I was always waiting for those. So I love the inside stories. Plus, you have to add in the fact that Kevin Nash is like a national treasure when it comes to the story. Like, you know, I don't like to be, you know, well, maybe I do like to be morbid, but I don't want to be morbid. But like, you know, when we lose Nash, that's going to be a big lost because he isn't afraid to tell you know great stories from the 90s all this he seems like a he's a very funny guy you know you're going to be a big loss because he isn't afraid to tell, you know, great stories from the 90s,

all this. He seems like he's a very funny guy. You know you're going to get your money's worth

2:38.6

when he's on a documentary or a Q&A or whatever. Oh, yeah. He, uh, it was great to see him doing

his thing and telling stories. Sean, I, uh, as a Brett guy, I've never been a gigantic Sean guy. So I don't,
