And it's me, your girl, Sydney. I am just finally recovering after being like super sick for the past few days. So if I sound

like a man, I'm so sorry. There's nothing I can really do about it. Something exciting this month,

though, the month of May. So the whole month of May, I am actually co-hosting the Nightlight

podcast, which is a bloody disgusting podcast. I was invited onto it by my friend Prince,

who I've been friends with, like on the internet, on TikTok for like literally almost three

years since I've had my TikTok. And it's the first time he and I have actually like physically spoken.

And it's been so much fun. And the first movie we talked about was dread and that episode

just dropped today. I'm filming this on Monday, May 6th. But that episode just dropped today and what a

fucking hidden gem that movie is. So it kind of does a same thing as I do here and that like he does

a kind of movie breakdown. So if you guys like that kind of thing, you'll like that. But obviously, like, I'm on it. And we kind of talk about scenes as he's breaking it down. And we just had so much fun. It's really cool to talk to people who are like as knowledgeable about horror as you are, you know, because a lot of my friends don't watch horror movies, so I have to

rely on people in the horror community to keep up with me. And it's really wonderful to actually

be able to do that. I've been thinking recently about what the best year for horror movies ever

is, not decade, but like year. And I always talk about like the 2000s and the 80s, obviously being

some of the best decades for a horror. However, like thinking about this more, I have to argue

that the best year for me for horror wasn't a 2000s year and wasn't a 1980s year. It was actually 2012. And that sounds really fucking

random, but some of my favorite horror films that literally shaped my love for the genre came

out in 2012. And I think like 2012 was also the time I had my Tumblr, which I talk about all the time.

Like it was the Tumblr era. I had a Tumblr. I had a horror movie Tumblr. I found out

so many movies that I otherwise wouldn't have known about. And one of the movies I found out about is the movie that I'm going to talk about today.

And it's called Excision from 2012. And it is a slept on underrated gym. And I remember at the time,

it did go viral on Tumblr because it was just like so obscure and just so fucking weird.
