Here's your host, Brandon Adam. We're doing a lot of quarterback talk on today's show, including in a couple of minutes, bringing on the guy that recently ranked all the quarterbacks in the SEC. And by now, what you've seen from stuff like this is kind of familiar to us. We've sort of seen this a lot, a lot of skepticism out there about Arch Manning, perhaps a lot of love out there for some of the

quarterbacks that Georgia will be facing this year. And I want to kind of get into that here for a moment. And I want all of this to lead into what I think when I kind of look at the numbers, and I spent a good bit of time yesterday. I don't know. Sometimes I kind of nerd out a little bit. And I really kind of nerded out yesterday on kind of what Georgia was a

year ago, what it kind of needs to get back to offensively. And I tell you, I like it when beliefs

I've had are reinforced. And there was a belief that I have had that I think has been reinforced here

once again, that the path for Georgia to be really good offensively,

and the path for Gunner Stockton, to be far better than people, I think, are giving him credit

for right now, there are some things that have to be done in order that to be true, but it's actually

just not impossible, I don't think. In fact, it's far from it. It's a much easier path to travel

than I think that people are

kind of giving him credit for. But to build to that, let me start this way. So the sporting

news, longtime venerable outlet, has recently ranked the top quarterbacks in the SEC,

ranking them from first all the way to last. And today, coming up in a couple of minutes,

the guy that actually ranked all of these quarterbacks for the sporting news,

a guy named Bill Bender is going to join us in the show here today. Our guy, Connor,

is Conner Raleigh is on vacation. So pinch hitting for Connor today is Bill Bender for the

sporting news, longtime frequent guest of ours. Been a college football writer for a very long time. And

in his overall list of SEC quarterbacks, he's got Gunner Stockton coming in at number nine.

And as we've said many, many times before, any degree of skepticism about Stockton to begin this

year, any sort of questioning of him that would say,

hey, I need to see you show me for a full season before I believe you. I would just say that's just
